2 p.m. Sept. 22: Back-to-School Bash

Grace Chapel members will host a benefit Sept. 22 for long-time member Debbie Nickell, who has fought brain cancer for five years.

The Back-to-School Bash will start at 2 p.m. at the church, 2335 W. state Highway 152. Children can play carnival games, horseshoes and on giant inflatable toys for free. Karaoke and hula hooping contests are also featured, as well as face painting.

Food will be sold, and there will be a raffle for prizes. All proceeds will help Nickell's family. For information call the church at 376-2171.

By lantern-light tour the historic fort and hear stories of the restless spirits of the old post along with some unsolved mysteries, urban legends and murderous tales.

Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors over 60 and children under 12.
