Dec. 18: Darleen Bailey Beard to speak

Children’s author Darleen Bailey Beard will speak at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Mustang Public Library. This program is open to all ages.

Beard is the author of “The Flim Flam Man,” “Twister,” “The Babb Switch School,” “The Pumpkin Man From Piney Creek” and “Operation Clean Sweep.”

Attendees may buy books and have them autographed. The program is sponsored by the Mustang Library’s Young Writers’ Club. For information about library programs and services, call 376-2226 or e-mail .
