Project Graduation group needs donors, volunteers

Mustang High School Project Graduation committee is selling raffle tickets through Dec. 9. Each ticket costs $2, and the drawing will be for half of the money raised. The drawing will be held at the Dec. 10 Project Graduation meeting, and the winner must be at least 18 years old.

The committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, and more volunteers are needed. Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol free party held by parents on graduation night for MHS seniors. The event includes carnival and casino-style games, bingo, large inflatable toys, food and thousands of dollars in prizes.

Uh... did I miss something?? An event for graduating seniors that are chomping at the bits to begin their new lives after graduation... COOL! But uh... large inflatable toys??? I have to think that may not be the highlight of their graduation experience. Just a passing thought.
