As Oklahoma City continues to attract new employers and leaders, business executives face a timely chance to plug into the institutions shaping the region’s next chapter. The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and Leadership Oklahoma City have relaunched OKConnect, a four-session orientation that aims to show senior leaders how civic, economic and community forces intersect across the metro.
Designed for C-suite executives, senior managers, recent arrivals and professionals assuming expanded leadership roles, the program offers a condensed, behind‑the‑scenes briefing on the city’s evolution and current priorities. Organizers say the goal is to help participants understand where decisions are made, who the key stakeholders are and how they can contribute to regional initiatives.
The curriculum unfolds over four interactive sessions, each focused on a different aspect of the city’s development—from infrastructure and workforce strategies to civic partnerships and neighborhood revitalization. Beyond briefings, the format emphasizes conversation and relationship building among peers who influence hiring, investment and local policy.

Program leadership is shared by Brooke Haneborg, director of business development at Manhattan Construction, and Dr. Quintin Hughes, executive director of the Northeast Oklahoma City Renaissance, who will help guide the sessions and discussions.
Capacity and cost
Enrollment is intentionally limited to 60 participants to preserve discussion quality and networking value. Fee levels are $500 for employees of Greater Oklahoma City Chamber member organizations and $600 for non‑members.
