In a civil complaint filed in May, property owner Vista View LLC asked the court to return control of the leased space to the company, alleging the operator failed to meet the lease terms and now owes substantial sums. The suit sets the owed amount at $105,856.05, plus additional fees and interest, and seeks further damages tied to alleged misconduct.
Vista View’s filing names Stompin’ Grounds Market LLC and two individuals associated with the business in state records: Tayler Kincannon (also listed as Tayler Weeden) and Abdullah Ashraf. Court papers assert the parties were notified of the default but did not cure it.
Ownership change, vendor fallout
Former owner Tayler Kincannon has posted on social media that she sold the business to Ashraf in April 2025 and walked away from operations. In that post she said she is not involved in the current ownership, rent or legal dispute and expressed sadness at the market’s current state.
Vista View’s complaint further alleges that Ashraf made promises about payments that were not fulfilled and that rent collected from vendors was not forwarded to the landlord. The landlord is seeking more than $10,000 in additional damages from Ashraf, on top of the unpaid rent claim.
Requests for comment from Ashraf and his legal counsel were not answered before publication.
