Martha Armstrong
Funeral services for Martha Jean Armstrong, 69, were held Tuesday at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang with burial in the Mustang Cemetery. Services were under direction of McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service.
Mrs. Armstrong died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 1, 1938, in Counce, Tenn., and grew up in Counce. She had been a resident of Mustang for the last 40 years where she was a member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church. She had a master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and taught more than 18 years in the Mustang school system — seven years in special education at Mustang Elementary and 11 years in first-grade at Lakehoma Elementary.
She is survived by her husband, Billy, a daughter, Pam Tipps, and a son, Willie, all of Mustang; a brother, Paul Pyron of Lubbock, Texas; sisters, Mary Lambert of Savannah, Tenn., Fay Jamerson of Troy, Tenn., and Linda Wilkerson of Adamsville, Tenn.; three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Kevin Diaz
Funeral services for Kevin JimBob Diaz, 16 months, were held Saturday at Knob Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wheatland. Services were under direction of McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service.
Kevin died Jan. 30 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 2006, in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Mary Diaz, and a brother, David Diaz, all of the home; grandparents, Steve and Donece Harper of Wayne, Jack and Jennifferr Baird of Mustang and Luis and Jeanette Diaz of Newalla; great-grandparents, John and Doris McCurtain of Oklahoma City, Don and Weda White of Purcell, Anna Jenkins of Oklahoma City and Tom and Dee Gould of Chester.
