Mustang police arrested a 37-year-old Georgia man after he was found in a parked car with a 15-year-old girl.

According to the police report, at about 3:12 a.m., Monday, Sgt. J. Gibson observed a suspicious vehicle parked in a public utilities parking lot on the south side of Lakehoma Acres Lake.

The officer notes in his report, he observed the man, Edward Sprague, of Martinez, Geo., parked in his car with the 15-year-old girl. According to the report, Sprague told the officer that he had picked up the female, who was walking home and the two were just talking before she went back inside for the night. The girl was questioned in the presence of her father, and advised the officer that she had met Sprague on an online dating application and they had met several times other than that night. She also told the officer that the two engaged in oral sex that night.

Officers arrested Sprague and charged him with complaints of lewd or indecent proposals or acts to a child under 16, rape by instrumentation and forcible sodomy. He was booked into the Mustang municipal jail.
