May 10
*A worker at a convenience store in the 100 block of North Czech Hall Road reported to police a man asked for a carton of cigarettes and two additional packs. Then he asked for another item, and while the clerk's back was turned, he left the store with the cigarettes without paying. The value of the items was $60.

May 12
*A resident in the 1000 block of West Gladys Way reported someone took his wallet containing personal information and two subwoofer speakers from his car during the night. Estimated loss is $492.
*A resident in the 400 block of West Branches Way reported to police someone broke the rear window from his car. Estimated cost to make repairs is $400.

May 13
*An owner of a moving truck rental company located in the 1200 block of East state Highway 152 reported to police someone had cut the catalytic converters from a truck. Estimated cost to make repairs is $800.
*Administrators reported to a school resource officer a teen was found with a glass pipe containing a small amount of a substance believed to be marijuana. Police arrested a 15-year-old boy on misdemeanor complaints of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to his parents.
*A resident reported to police someone is creating fraudulent checks on his bank account and spending them. Estimated loss is $52.
*A resident in the 400 block of West Hillcrest Drive reported to police someone broke into his box truck and took two 14-horsepower Kohler gasoline engines used on power washers, two high-pressure water hoses and two high-pressure water guns. He told police believes the theft happened between 10:30 a.m. May 11 and 6:30 p.m. May 12. Estimated value of the equipment is $3,300.
*A resident in the 400 block of West Pines Way reported to police someone spray painted profanity on a culvert. Estimated cost to clean it up is $100.
*A resident in the 900 block of North Crystal Way reported to police a relative took his Yu-Gi-Oh card collection between Feb. 1 and April 30. His collection contained more than 2,000 cards and has and estimated value of $750.
*Police arrested a 22-year-old Newcastle man on complaints of driving under license suspension and driving without insurance during a traffic stop in the 600 block of south State Highway 4. He also faces a speeding citation.
