CREGER EARNS TOP HONOR

Former Mustang Bronco and South-
western Oklahoma State University softball star Stacey Creger was chosen to the Lone Star Conference North Division first-team squad according to votes cast by the division's seven head coaches.
Creger, a junior third baseman, was one of 14 players chosen to the first team. She led SWOSU in a number of offensive categories including average (.350), doubles (13), home runs (eight) and RBI's (28). Creger becomes only the 11th player in school history to make the North's top team and the first since 2007.

Creger was also selected as the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week on March 1. During a series against Southeastern Oklahoma State University, she was a perfect 9-for-9 at the plate. Her efforts helped SWOSU win the series
3-1.
Creger was also named as the Most Valuable Player on the team this season.
She carries a 3.4 grade point average in biological science. She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll earlier this year.
Stacey is the daughter of Robin and Wes Creger of Mustang.
