Track teams compete in Putnam City West relays

Mustang track teams competed in the Putnam City West relays track meet on March 27.

The boys squad took fourth place in the meet with 58 total points, and the girls team had 52 points, which was good enough for third place.

Westmoore won first place in both the boys and girls meets.

Here are the girls results from the PC West relays:

In the 4×100-meter relay race, Mustang took sixth place with a time of 53.21 seconds.

In the 4×800-meter relay competition, the Lady Broncos finished second overall with a time of 10:35.02.

In the 800-meter sprint relay event, MHS placed sixth overall with a time of 2:05.68.

In the 4×200-meter relay race, Mustang took fifth place with a time of 1:52.21.

In the 4,000-meter relay competition, the Lady Broncos finished in second place with a time of 14.44.88.

In the 4×400-meter relay event, MHS placed third overall with a time of 4:29.47.

Here are the boys results from the Putnam City West relays:

In the 4×800-meter relay race, Mustang took second overall with a time of 8.49.17.

In the 800-meter sprint relay competition, the Broncos took sixth place overall with a time of 1:44.87.

In the 400-meter big man relay event, MHS placed first overall with a time of 53.39 seconds.

In the 4×200-meter relay race, Mustang took eighth place overall with a time of 1:40.09.

In the 4,000-meter relay competition, the Broncos finished in second place with a time of 12:15.86, and in the 4×400-meter relay event, MHS placed fifth overall with a time of 3:44.91.
