Richard Allen Foster
Richard Allen Foster, age 89, died on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at his home in Yukon.
He was born June 13, 1924 in Canton, Ohio to Harry R. and Pauline (Hall) Foster. He grew up in Canton and was a graduate of Lehman High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Richard was a retired 26 year employee of the Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1980 as assistant manager for Dodge trucks. After retirement from Chrysler he worked several years for National Car Rental. He moved to Yukon in 1988 and was a member of Mustang Christian Church and was a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kirk and David. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Anita of the home; three sons, Richard Foster and wife Holly of Yukon; Mark Foster and wife Linda of Oklahoma City; and Scott Foster and wife Marina of Eagan, Minn.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, with interment following at 3 p.m. in the Resthaven Cemetery, Shawnee, Okla. Online condolences may be made at www.mcneilsmustangfs.com.
