Juliette Royle, age 73 died Monday, Jan. 6.
She was born Oct. 18, 1940 in Paxton, Fla. to Henry and Alma Inez (Harrison) Broxton. She grew up in and around the Tampa, Fla. area. She came to Oklahoma in 2007 from Colorado. Juliette lived in Union City until her death, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She retired in 2004 as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Juliette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward; one sister, Alma Jean; and one brother, Royce.
She is survived by one son, Amon “Vic” Vickers and wife Rose of Tuttle; and one daughter, Vickie Speakman and husband Laurren of Crestview, Fla. Also by five grandchildren, Renee, Casey, Tyler, Bradley and Brenden; four great grandchildren; one brother, Buddy; and two sisters, Faye and Doyice.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at First Baptist Church of Union City, with interment to follow in Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang.
